Email viruses

    Is it possible to get a virus just by opening a email, but not opening the attachment?

    not that i've heard of. you need to open something llke an attachment or embedded file. Unless maybe the actual email you rec'd had to be opened like an attachment. check with you isp's tech support, not that they'll all know it but you might get lucky and speak with someone knowledgable.
