Can't you rsync the two sets of databases together? That would be the obvious solution to mirror the parts of the site you want. you might have noticed by now that afterdawn doesn't have many web developers or site owners among the membership.. it's outside the site mission and remit.. ozzu.com is far better for website admin type questions.
