HELLO, ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO MY COMBO DVD/VCR IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. IT DOES NOT PLAY MY VHS TAPES ANYMORE. EVERYTIME I PUT A VHS AND PRESS PLAY IT POWERS OFF AND WHEN I PRESS THE POWER BUTTON, IT EJECTS MY VHS TAPE AND NEXT TO THE EJECT LOGO ON THE SCREEN THERE IS A "T" LETTER. ALSO WHEN I WANT TO RECORD ON A DVD-R IT RECORDS FOR 8 SECONDS AND THEN SAYS CANNOT RECORD ON THIS DISC. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS COULD BE? THANKS SO MUCH RICHARD
P.O.S. I have the equivalent machine bought two years ago at Wal-Mart. I've had issues with the timer recording on the DVD player not work intermittently. I've had really crappy VHS tapings from t.v. I've even had a tape get stuck. I had to unscrew the unit and manually get it out. When rewinding, their was such a hiss I thought the machine would die. It did -- not too long after.
