i cant find my emu key to turn it on . its the box super. i have followed the instructions, scanned and found channels but just lets me see freeveiws
I believe the sequence is (not sure so if wrong, can somebody correct it) ... Press MENU Move to PARENTAL CONTROLS Press i (info) button Type in 1570 or 2004 CAS System menu should appear so you can turn EMU on
thanks i have just tried this and it doesnt seem to work. the instruction says press menu enter 1570 and a hidden menu should appear. it dosent
try entering the sequence a bit quicker as it appears if you are too slow in entering it then the box ignores
its new so it could be faulty i suppose. i have done the scan it shows all the info on the programs but shows scrambled or bad signal.that hardly matters i still cant find the emu key. thanx
Check the version number of the software installed by going into the System menu ... It should be Ver 6 or 6.1. If an earlier version is installed then there is no EMU so the box will need a firmware update in order for the EMU menu to become available to you.
its version 6.00e boot version 8. is there any other way to get into the emu key apart from 1570 and info 2004

the box 3 has api ver 6.00e on it you need to put the 450eE_api bin file on with the gtrom loader 6.01e. the gtrom loader v4.00 will not work.
Do not put the 4.50 firmw@re on it as that is for the SV 2 You need to flash the Supr B0x as you only have FTA firmware at the moment. You will find all you need in Eamos Library at the bottom of my post. I would recommend going with version 6.1, even though its only Beta for now. This has rectified the channel/categories mapping in Ireland.
