okay, the whole emule system is like this: upload more, u download faster. something built on credits. u shud get a high ID, and what not i have 1.5 mbit and the max i've gotten is like ..50 kbs ish? also, it depends on the number of peers with that file. and since its not always ppl uploading the file to u at the same time, due to qeue rates.
It is also a question if you are behind a router or a firewall, in which case you have to forward ports. -Mike
you know you should just use limewire or torrents, emule is ok for rare files but youll have much more joy downloading from limewire as its very fast and alot easier, i would give it a try. also thats pretty damm slow, it could be your firewall, try opening your ports also if that could help.
