Ok my prob is this i wanna do some advanced authoring like creating menus and adding sound to menus and all that jazz but the only softwares that do that are stand alone softwares which i have to provide an encoded movie to. So my question is this can i use a software that encodes and authors like DVDSanta or VSO to encode a source only without authoring it. Cuz when i used TMPGEnc it was so slow and it took about 27hrs to finish encoding the source.
Are you multitasking while you are using TMPGEnc, make sure your spyware such as Spyware Doctor is NOT running and close all unnecessary progs. I would also check to see if DMA is enabled, go here for a guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038
