    Hi .....

I am using DVD2SVCD, CCE (Cinema Craft Encoder), TMPGEnc DVD Author and Nero Burning to convert & burn my avi files to dvd+r .....

Its all set up properly, and I started to encode my first avi .... Oh ... My ... God ... How Long????

Is there a quicker way of encoding the avi's without losing too much quality?

Im only using the 2 pass vbr .... if I change that to 1 pass, will it speed it up? or will it just stay the same time to encode etc & give me worse quality?

Any help would be gratefully accepted!

Well 1-pass would definitely be much quicker! As for quality, i dont know, i've only done 2-pass once in my life before! All the stuff I do, I do with 1-pass :)

It will take a long time to DVD-R because of the Bit Rate, there isnt much you can do about that yet I'm afraid!!
