I need a program in which I can encrypt my entire hard drive and it still accessiable as it is now. Only when I shutdown do I want it to do this. Then, at startup it will decrypt. And all this would happen with in a matter of mins...maybe secs. Something similar as to what movies portray. Anyone know of one?
Well, you could go a step easier and just use software to protect/lock certain files. It's Folder Lock. It makes it so folders you select, or drives, even specific files are locked. Of course they could only be unlocked if the program is launched w/the password and done by you. I've got WinRAR, only use it for files I download. I also have File Encrytion XP that uses BlowFish algorithm, it is very nice but not what I need. Plus, it's only a 30 day trial. I've been researching alot to see if there was such program to do this, no luck yet.
