Hi, So dumb but important question. So what programs strip off the encryption and how often do you need updates? I was told before to not allow a program to update automatically to prevent issues,so are the updates what updates the encryption mechanism so it will strip off the latest protection? Can you generally download the updates and test them without having auto updates enabled? It was anydvd I think a friend uses. What programs do you need to burn dvd's entirely? I thought you need a protection removal program and then a burning and reauthoring program? Shrink does it all I guess but i heard it doesn't do all the encryption types?
