I had a problem with a backed up DVD..The movie played fine until the end of the movie when it garbled up and sound stopped. I used DVDshrink AnyDVD and HP+R DVD's. I initially thought that it happened because it was at the end of the DVD but when I played it on my computer it played all the way to the end without any problems...Any suggestions..

yes use better media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning between 4x and 8x max. and set your target size a bit smaller in dvd shrink so your not burning right to the edge of the dvd but using good media most of the time will solve that problem.

hp media is low grade and should be avoided!

Thanks....Any suggestion on where to get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD's ? Preferably none internet unless the savings are significant then I will do internet DVD's. Or how about a trusted internet DVD retailer ?

Verbatim can be had about everywhere , Best Buys, Sam's Club , Office Depot

Taiyo Yuden you pretty much have to get online

    http://www.supermediastore.com

is the best place to get them . I've been buying mine there for years with never a problem. there offer free shipping also plus buying online you avoid the sales tax unless you live in CA.

don't set the target to low you will compress the file to much and end up with low quality video playback depending what you watch the back ups on? you will be happy with buying the Taiyo Yudens at SMS plus you just saved yourself gas money lol

But glad we got you sorted Rock On!
