Ended a process in the task manager and now internet won't work!

    I am having problems with a rogue antivirus malware (winweb security) and I tried to end process in the task manager. Now my Internet no longer works. I think I ended a process called rundl32.exe and I got a prompt to work offline; that's when the Internet stopped working. I know my internet service is fine because I'm able to use the wifi on my iPhone. Please help so that I don't have to reinstall windows. Thanks!

    You could try to restart the proccess by going to task manager -> applications tab -> New Task -> type rundl32.exe (or what ever you stopped and hit enter.

    I'm sorry if this sounds dumb, but have you tried rebooting?

    Also, I see that you have a problem with a rogue antivirus. Post a thread in the Viruses and spyware section of this forum so that we can help you.
