enter codes into starview box

    i did a starview reset by mistake. How do i fix it or is it broken??thanks john

    A factory reset?if so and it has the latest firmware just rescan on your correct provider.

    you will need to reflash your box with latest firmware use the seach bar you should get all the info you need

    no you dont!
    IF you are on the latest firmware just rescan and go in a turn on key emu, If your not on the latest firmware you'll have to manually enter the keys

    how do i rescan and go in and turn on key emu, nothing happens when i enter menu 1570 ??thanks james

    After factory reset it should go to language-english-installation-N@L-when that finishes then go to emu via-menu 1570

    iv did all that but when i press 1570 no extra menu comes up??
    for system information it says e_ver4.506 15oct 2007

    Hey Hiney, sounds like you have box PVR, if so you need to go to menu, system setup, parental control and in here press info 2007?

    hiney145 - Think you would be far better advised at this point to click o the link marked Eamo's FTA Library, and go into the folder marked The Box PVR, you have unfortunarely confused everyone with the simple term Starview!! It is a completely different procedure for the box PVR, because that is what you have going off the description you give as to what it says in System Information. So just check exactly what your box is, i.e. model (But with that Firmware on - and if it was working previously, then it is The Box PVR) - what does it say at the top left hand side front of box? - You will find latest Firmware in Eamo's Library and also plenty of help files for your box.
