"Enter password" command

    When a DVD is placed into the player a "please enter password" command comes up on the screen. The problem being that I am unaware of establishing a password,and so would appreciate any advice on how to either bipass this step or locate said password. Thanks so much!

    Is it some kind of 'Parental Control' or similar feature found on some players.
    If it is, the manual will explain how to turn it off.

    my dvd player has a lock out feature that you can set to some disks so it asks for a password when you put the disk in.the password should be in the instruction manual.
