Enter the Matrix problem...

I've just bought Enter the Matrix and i'm having problem with the left anolog joystick. The other button works except for the movement. So i'm left hitting and kicking without the ability to move forward. The Controller i'm using is a ps1 dualshock anolog controller. I was wondering is it because i need the Dualshock 2 that came with the system or is it the game thats causing the problem. I have the Dualshock 2 but i had left it at my parent's house, they live 2 hrs away so i can't test to see for myself. I was wondering can anyone resolve this problem for me. Thanx~

 

seems the game is full of bugs on easy mode after i complete catch the plan with niomi it freeze up and the screen turns black this is happening with the orginal.i'll check my ps1 controller to see if it works._X_X_X_X_X_[small]say hello to my lil friend[/small]

 

my ps1 dual shock controller won't let me move forward either. man, Shiny entp really droped the ball.
looks like you'll need the ps2 controller to play.

Using a Panasonic LF-D321 and a 4.7 gig(Sony) DVD-R media I made a back-up of Enter the Matrix. This game Plays flawlessly in my Magic 3.1 modded PS2 until I get to the scene where I am in the second part of the hanger durning the 'Catching a Plane' sequence. After decending the last ladder to the floor, I make my way toward the plane. The game begins to load ( the normal green screen with streaming down numbers). The game then returns to a black screen. I thought it was the modchip but I switched it off (held reset button 3 seconds). Still the same problem. Tried an original copy with(modchip on and off)same problem. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be? Thank's for all replies.

 

same prob, hope you didn't save those codes into your game.(assuming you put in codes)this problem occurs when you enter codes just start up without the codes. if you saved them, sorry to say you'll have to restart from scratch.

I thought those codes might have been the problem but was unsure. So, if I'm to use the codes, I must play without saving? Thanks for all replies.

This is what happened to me! Except it wasn’t with a PS1 controller, just a normal PS2 one. I couldn’t move forward in the game no matter what I did. I thought it was just because the game was a bit broken but even when I got a working version of it the same thing happened! Can’t figure out what’s causing it. I’m sure there must be some explanation ‍♂️
