On my Windows 2000 Pro PC, I've recently installed a new Video card.
Once installed, I now have my entire system's displays streched in length:
It's as if you are in notepad and the characters appear in Calligraph421 BT
font instead of the default (Courrier New regular font).
If it was in Notepad or Word, I woul dhave just change the fonts from the menus...but in this case, it's my entire windows display (the windows popups, all windows, etc..everything is a lil bit stretched in length)!
it's not that bad looking, but I want to get back to the default normal windows 2000 font display. Thanks for helping

Is this a font change or a disaplay change.
there are many factors which can affect display properties, such as resolution, refresh rate.
you should also think about the a change of DPI if needed.

    I've changed nothing personally.
(Mind you, that would have helped me targetting the
origin of the problem). I just installed the new video card, and vroum...windows display defaults to that!

It's not your dpi, lol. It's your resolution. It's defaulting to something that's not right for your monitor (Probably widescreen.)

Right click on the desktop, choose "properties" then "Settings" and slide the "Screen resolution" slider to a different setting and choose "ok" or "apply." Keep choosing new ones until you can read everything (aka it's not too small) and/or everything looks right.
