no, unless you have a private share with someone, so unless ya have that, wont work, Kryptview is the one at the mo for cable in the UK
The starview is about £50.00 cheaper than the kryptview you do get a 12mth time frame with the starview unlike the kryptview there is no time limit built into the coding on the firmware. The support for the Starview well lets say its lacking where as the Kryptview have a better support team. As with all STB you only get FTA firmware installed so if you want to watch other programs your box need to be programed you can find all you need for the kryptview at the bottom of my signature firmware tutorials loader etc. Just a word of warning about these STB they all need a live cable feed and an internet connection as all STB need to be connected to these all the time while viewing. There are a few PPL using these on private servers, albeit a DM500 Clone simply rebranded. So it's a yes/no answer. Yes they will work with correct s-ware if you find a trusted source. No they won't if bought off the shelf. Best regards
