    Hi,

I have a Envision cable box but I'm not sure what software to flash the box with. I have never heard of this box before! Can anyone give me some advice please?

    Thanks

envision is a copy of the dreambox so they have pretty much the same firmware,if you look at other treads and click on eamos library ,its at the end of his posts(eko4shared)should find what you need there.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice

I had a look at eko4shared and found the dreambox software there. I followed the instruction to flash the box and the software (DreamUp ver 1.3.3.4) and it could NOT detect the box. The box is working and it does power up but the flashing software does not detect it.

Can anyone help with this issue?

    Thanks

i can tell you that the en-500c is a copy of the dreambox dm-500c i had one before and was told it was d digital system mabe there are different models do you have a model number also if this is the case you can ftp the roms just like a dbox2 rather than wipe it altogether
