Hi does anyone know the solution to this prob; I cant record two channels from the epg. When i record one channel thats ok but when i try to go back to epg to record a second channel i get on screen this message: not while in hard disc mode. is there a way round this thanks Paul
Hi Paul That is correct when a channel is recording some options on the remote control are not available and recording is one of them. Do you have the loop cable connected between the two tuners???. If so you will have to set both the different EPG's to Pre timer record mode.(Press EPG then Yellow button then scroll to channel you want then press the record button then scroll to ok, set your second channel the same way) You will then still be able to change channels on your remote when the recordings are preset or ongoing.When recording has started if you press the i (info) button you will get info on whats being recorded at top left or top right of screen. jbvid
Thanks JB. Ill try that. How come on the epg I only have 6 hours ahead with info about channels then the rest of the info slots are blank and if I go backwards on epg there are still loads of listings which have already past. I think I have all the time and date settings up to date. thanks Paul
@paulhac Thats is how the EPG is at present, it has improved slightly over the last few software releases and somedays it seems better than others. The software guys seem to be getting there slowly with improvements. jbvid
