Now Then.... To avoid all confusion... English version of PrintCD available here: http://www.christuck.karoo.net/epson printcd.exe (2.2mb) I know how frustrating it is, especially since I have been providing R200/R300 printers with systems to customers and three did not have the software required - Epson still wanted me to pay £10 per disc. As far as i am aware, if you own the printer you can use the software. This link is ONLY intended for use in replacing lost software.
also just to add... i agree with the reference to http://www.ukdvdr.co.uk for cheap ink and printables

Hi to those that need the print CD Software click on the link provided by tuck_1981 above it still works.
I have the original from disc that came with my R300 2.2mb in size and available here http://rapidshare.de/files/22139303/printcd.rar.html Dave
For anyone interested, there's a better program than epson print cd. It's called "dvd cover gold" from www.cheapsharware.co.uk and works with all epson and canon cd printers. I use it with my R300 and it works fine.you can also print your dvd case covers.
i am always suspicious when members drag up threads from months gone by,giving links to sites advertising products i hope you are not affiliated with that site?...hehehe i have never heard of that software to be honest, and i find epsom print cd very easy to use.and i cant really say you could make a printing software any easier than epson's. btw,you missed the "e" out the link
Well I also like the EPSON software but one issue I have is that the files are HUGE !! over 5mb each! if I could find an equally easy to use program that applied a wee bit more compression I might switch (but only if it could interoperate with the ecs files the epson software makes) I also really hate it when I get people e-mailing me because of this thread for a link to the software when the LINK is right there in the stinking thread they just read in order to find out I was someone to contact. JUST DOWNLOAD IT already hehehe Chris Taylor http://www.nerys.com/
1/ Sorry about the missing 'e' 2/ No, i am not affiliated to the site-i got the info off another forum. 3/ If your happy with the epson print cd software thats fine, but there are people who are not. The software is free to try and only £7.99 to buy-thats cheaper than a re-placement cd from epson. There's no harm in trying new software-you never know, you might like it!.
The ink will smear and will not really dry unless you use PRINTON disc. I have that printer and the software don't know how to get the software to you maybe post it on limewire ?
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE PRINT CD SOFTWARE FOR THE EPSON R200 CLICK ON THIS LINK http://support.epson.ru/driver_list.asp?product=347&uos=35 THEN GO DOWN THE PAGE AND LOOK FOR THIS EPSON Print CD (2.81 Mб | Язык: Русский | Версия: 1.4aR THEN JUST CLICK ON THE ZIP FILE ****************** IT WORKS *******************************
Hi folks. I am no longer hosting the .exe file for printcd as some people are rightly wary of this type of file download. If you want the version stated above by gadget i am hosting this. Direct link as follows: http://www.christuck.karoo.net/printcd.zip Recommended media suppliers (UK): UKDVDR - http://www.ukdvdr.co.uk BURN Media - http://www.burn-media.co.uk
Just to confirm, too, that you DO NOT need printable cd media to use this software. It allows you to print on labels too. However, to printo on to the disc, you DO need a coated media. PS - does anyone know of any proposed updates to the software? It's fairly limited now and it's getting a bit out of date...
I use it all the time..... and if it works..... don't fix it! but I agree with you ....... some improvements or just a new look to it may be nice. As far as functionality... it's just fine because I get great results!
