    Heads Up!

I was at Staples yesterday 8-20-06 and the clerk told me at around Sept. 15th they will no longer be giving the $3.00 off coupon for ink cartridges that are not HP. This was in Southern California but the clerk said it will be a nation wide thing. You may want to call your local Staples and see if you find the same situation.

Also I have been using the private abacus ink and have been really happy with both the service and products.

alkohol- Where do you purchase your genuine Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD+R Silver Inkjet printable dvds from?

I heard another store was giving $3 ink vouchers. Maybe Office Depot or Office Max?

BTW: Staple's has the Epson R-340 on sale for $130 and no rebate involved in case anywho is looking for one.

I have the R300 and I bought 36 cartridges that 6 set for .99 each with free shipping and no Tax. They came with a 2 year unconditional guarantee. I print about 2 - 3 DVD's a day at the highest photo quality I can set it at, plus graphic designs I do everyday. I put in one set a month ago and it's not even at the half way point. A good place for R200/R300 media or cartridges is Meritline.com
Sign up to receive there deals via e-mail. If you do not have to buy right away they will send excellent deals every 2 to 3 weeks.

I just bought a stack of 100 Memorex 16x DVD+R (-R was also available at the same price) 4.7GB Hub inkjet printable, delivered to my door for $27.00

    Enjoy

You can find the silver inkjet TY's here (+ & - format):
    http://supermediastore.com

Watch the Memorex - not very highly recommended. Maybe you got the ones made by Ritek which are decent.
For a few more bucks you can get better ones - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.

True Memorex what ever media are good and they back there products. Ritek & Verbatim or cheap media ran in large quantities with little quality control. Taiyo Yuden I do not know because I've only see the silver that I don't use and good deal or not I won't pay what they ask.

I clean, fix and service PC and servers to pay for my computer habit. When I'm done I image the HD for my customer as a curiosity. Plus next time it does not take as long to fix their system

Ritek made the Ink cartridges I mentioned before. I have had great success with them. As far as cheap media I have had good luck with Prodisk.

Have any of you backed up the new Sony DVD's? I can do it with great quality, was wondering if there is a way to speed up the process.

Real smart go to supermediastore and pay $28.80 for 2 sets and then pay shipping or go to Meritline.com and pay $36.00 for 6 sets, no tax in CA and free shipping. Do the math

i just checked out the staples thing and it works. i took 7 cartridges in and got $21 worth of credit. you can use up to 3 per purchase. they told me the same thing about only accepting certain types in sept. they said hp, lennonx and 1 other are the only ones they will give coupons for.

sorry i forgot the third type.

has anyone thought about buying the 99 cent cartridges and returning them all to staples for a $3 credit?

    I've got 2 printers.....

    1 is a HP photosmart 7550

    & my 2nd is an EPSONR300

I only use my HP for printing text, word documents, or something online.
I used to print digital prints w/ it but, going to Wal-M#rt & Wallgre#ns
    gave me better results.

I use my EPSON for printing onto DVD's & printing labels for DVD cases.
Been pleased w/ results using the EPSON.

I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of my HP printer.
The ink is much more expensive than my EPSON. HP printer takes 3 ink cartridges & each one costs at least $20, for an off brand.

I could get all 6 ink cartridges for my EPSON for about $20 shipped.

check this deal I got on Ebay.........
12 ink cartridges for my ESPON $ 18.00 shipped..........

My HP 3420 passed away and its substitute a HP 3175 all in one decided to follow the first one. After theese errata choises I decided to decline from the above mentioned firm and I purchased an R200 printer and a Canon LIDE scanner. Both are wonderfull. The printer for its quality and the scanner for the physical dimensions!
