I just bought the Epson Stylus Photo R220 printer to print directly on dvd's. i put the tray in and it goes in and goes back out and says that it didn't feed right. i alligned the arrows and everything but nothin works. am i doin somethin wrong. i could use some help please!!!!! thanks in advance
I have an Epson 320 and had the same problem with the same error message at first. Make sure the tray is inserted far enough and under the guide and that the DVD is correctly positioned.
i just tried again and it went in and then came out and i got the msg CD/DVD tray not set correctly. i've followed all the instructions and i think i put in everything correctly. any advice?
I usually start just back from the arrows and after the print head goes by push it in then. If it doesn't "take" push in and press paper button. Better out a little than in too far.
Thanks guys. it works and looks amazing. the only thing left for me to do now is to figure out if i can print a smaller inner blank circle. has anybody figured out how to do that with the given software. i would like to print as close to the inner opening as i can but when i print no matter what i do it gives me a lot more white in the center. thanks guys. any help would be greatly appreciated =)
Set inner diameter, one of the lower left discs on epson cd print. Do a search and find out what the "pros" set it at. I set mine at 27 for full hub printing.
I believe it's the third "CD" from the bottom on the left of your software. It should say inner/outer diameter. Set your inner to 18 and your outer to 118. You can then adjust accordingly after you print your first one with those settings.
My inner setting will only go to 20. The last prints I did first 2 left a little ring unprinted but the last one printed all the way. I didn't change any setting.???? I don't mind a little ring they still look awesome to my lucky friends that recieved them. Saves a little ink. LOL
My bad. You are correct. 20 is the minimum. On mine, I have it set at 22 for inner and 118 for outer. If I go 20, I would be printing inside the center circle.
