Hello I just oredered a Dell XPS generation 2, it has a intel Pentium M processor 2ghz, 1 gig ram, 256 video 6800, 80gb harddrive. I wanted to know what the equivalence of the Pentium M 2ghz was to a pentium 4 proccessor. I reasearched on internet, but couldn't get straight answer. Thanks

    Hi Bob,
Here is an interesting link for you:
    http://www.tomshardware.com/howto/20050621/index.html
Most folks read this article and then want to buy it - so if you have ordered one already, that's good :^)
Tom has a chart of all the Pentium M's there - see the huge L2 caches!? 1MB, 2MB...
I tell ya, those CPUs are good ;^)
They are plenty fast, and it's all in the video board anyway (for gamers).

Yeah P-M are cracking, even thou Pentium's 630+ have 2mb caches & a fsb off 800 there nothing compared to a P-M, and they run allot cooler :)
