Erase Rewritable Disc Problem

    Hello Every One
    I need your advice please; my DVD writers will now not recognize my rewritable discs any more. I have 3 Pioneer DVR-111D -Firmware Version -1.29 and I have just bought a Lite-on, I have tried different rewritable discs + and -.I had no problem with any of the discs or the DVD drives when it came to putting them on a disc and taken films of, I use NTi and Nero 8 .Can any one please help me with my problem, is it a software problem.

    You don't mention whether your rewritable discs are CD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, or DVD-RAM. All work differently from each other. However, you do mention that you have NTI and Nero 8. If they are on the same computer system, you automatically have a conflict with the packet-writing software that will likely corrupt the file systems on formatted discs and make them illegible. You have to use one or the other, not both. (The only way around that is to write to the discs as if they were write-once media and do a full erase when you want to change something. Even then two recording software versions on a single computer is not recommended.)
