Hey Ive been getting Error 07, I know this is a HDD problem but the HDD isn't Dead. It still spins up, all the Cables Are connected properly. any ideas anyone? is it still possible to hotswap with this error? i think the boot partitions are corrupt or something. if icant use it in my xbox i would like to unlock it to run in my pc. but i dont know if i can yet.
It can be a faulty drive (common) an incorrectly set jumper (not as common) a faulty ide cable.. (rare) and a dead ide controller on the mobo (very rare) Just because the drive spins doesn't mean it works. They usually spin up even though they are dead.
