Error 12 (werid problems)

    Alright, basicly date cable pluged into hard drive, power up xbox unable to open DVD rom tray, when I d/c the date cable from the hard drive DVD tray opens :S werid enough i no , anyone have any clues

    An error 12?

    Why are you messing with the cables anyway? More information could be helpful.

    cuz i had error 12 in the first place .. wouldnt stop with 12.. so i made sure they were all pluged in right fine prefect... tryed different date cable still error... and tryed bootin with just DVD rom and the tray opens.. and booted with both dvd and h/d and tray will not open and its still error 12

    Your DVD drive has most likely crapped out and needs to be replaced.

    lol nope ur wrong dvd is fine.. i use a different hard drive and it works great.neways im getting a chip put in it so that should fixs all my problems.. hard drive files are just all screwed up and makin everything run stupid so all should be well

    probly fixed it was my hard drive i put a new 30 gig and a chip and now its awesome
