Please help me. ! had a softmodded xbox with an unleashx dash installed but i lost my origanal xbox dash. !n trying to get it back i erased the unleashx dash and now my xbox displays error 16. My xbox will not boot anything now! I had a look at the error section on thease forums but it didnt help me. Is there anything i can do to get it work again! preferably a solution that does not cost money!
If you have the EEPROM, you can use xbhdm to fix it. If you don't have the EEPROM you'll have to hot swap.
just call xbox services and see if they can fix I sent my xbox that had the error code 16 and they repaired it but they repaired it improperly becuase i cant go on live but it doesnt matter so if you dont know hot to hotswap and all that confusing stuff call 18004myxbox they will do something just dont tell them that you modded it becuase then they wont fix it.
yea but u gatta pay i think $60.00 for the repairs while u can repair it with a computer.... linuxmstr + question + afterdawn =fixed xbox
Well really I had to pay 100 bucks and I only payed 30 so I got a good deal I guess, but it shouldnt have broke though... P.S. next time post in the right section Xbox Software Discussion
