ERROR 16!!!!!!plz help me

i need help we got error 16 when we were softmoding a x box and need to know if there is a way to fix it....and if you know the way plz tell MEEEEE...i need to know its not my x box.....

 

Does anyone know what to do when thie happens on a soft modded x box?????!!!?plz if you do HELP me...i need it.

also my friend just gave me his old x box Hard Drive and disc drive...if i can use this to fix it plz tell me...

Error 16 means the clock is not set, and you cannot go to the dashbaord to set it, meaning you have no dashboard. You must have deleted it somehow.

His harddrive will not work in your xbox, cause of the eeprom. If he gave you his bios, and hd, you would be set.

If you dont know what the eeprom is, then you prob dont have it. If you have made a backup of the xbox drive, then you might have it.

If you dont have the eeprom, then your only hope is to hotswap.
