Alright, On both my xbox and my brothers xbox we get the same error (21) . "Your xbox requires service" with the 21 in the top left hand corner. I don't know what to do to fix this! I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.
First, I wanna tell you that you need to explain your problem a little more. 1) Did you attempt to softmod or chip these systems? 2) Did you drop it or do anything to possibly damage the system? 3) Anything else that you might have done to cause this error? Error 21 is tought to narrow down, because it could mean a variety of things. Let us know some more info and we'll be able to assist you further w/ your problem.
Hey PimpDawg, I need the same help recovering my original Xbox dash. Everything works except that it will not boot to the original XBox dash no matter how I do it. I get error 13 or 21. Qwix works, FlashFXPp works, IE6 works so my comm is fine. This occured after i used Flashfxp to dump a whole bunch of XBox related files from my laptop to the /C/, and /E/ drives. I really amm not too sure what happened. I did not drop it or anything... Thanks in advance. What I do whenever there is a problem w/ the original dash is use Slayers to put the necessary files back on. You should check into that. You must have overwritten something or deleted something that you needed in your C: because error 13 means that there is an error w/ the dashboard you are trying to load....
