Error Code 39 CD-rom DVD-rom

    my dvd-R/RW stopped working I went into device drivers and says that cannot load drivers file missing or corrupt (code 39)

    OK fixed the problem this is how you do it :
    go to start
    run
    cmd
    type regedit
    in registry editor goto
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    right click upperfilters - delete
    right click lowerfilters -delete
    restart computer


    This is a known issue with Easy CD Creator versions 5.01 and earlier, and DirectCD versions 3.01c and earlier
