im getting an error code 5 on my xbox. went from a 16 to a 5. did a hotswap to pc to replaced the MS dash with a clean working one. but when i boot i get error 5 meaning that the hdd is unlocked so i asking if any one knows of a way to fix that any programs that i can use to relock the hdd? an if modding the xbox with a chip which is best in my case.
yea i think a chip is the only thing to use here the X2 solderless if you dont want to solder is what i recommend just pop it in.....the Flashbios screen will give you the option to lock the HD right away and you will be on your way....
