    Edit our your serial # at top. Begins with W1
    Your log shows you using and your drive not liking the CMC media.
    What the exact error message from Shrink?
    Is your firmware up to date on your drive?

    The brand may be TDK but it was made by CMC - which is probably the worst one. The Nero log gives the discs manufacturer. I would also slow the burn speed down tp 4x.
    Post back with your results.

    edited thread title as it was exceptionally long !! lol

    I would say it could well be burning @ x8 on the CMC coded media might be the problem also ;-)

    If saving DVD Shrink project as .ISO btw , I would suggest using DVD Decrypter to write image.

    You're right about the media, i think it is garbage. I burned it successfully at 4x, so thanks I never did change the serial number but it did burn successfully that time so thanks for the help.

    I have been using the file mode, but if the discs are not too lenghty i do use the ISO mode of decrypter for ripping and burning. The problem here is that this media that I bought from Staples in Kent, WA is junk. Found it on sale in memorial day weekend, what a bunch of garbage. TDK my ... This is some junk. I may take some of the unused back.

    @robinstud -

    - update latest ASPI layer, your's doesn't look good - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm

    - fix DMA settings here (they should all be ON) - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    - this i'm afraid is the most hideous atrocious media out there. Try something top notch (but costs no more then crap media) such as Verbatim [bold]datalifeplus[/bold]

    - drive doesn't like that atrocious media !

    - whoa slow it down, you're torturing that media, but no more than it deserves lol. But seriously, try burning at 4x, less chance of error

    - uninstall the packet writing software (InCD) - this is part of Nero that can interfere with standard Nero Burning Rom. I'd uninstall Nero completely, use 'Nero Clean Tools' " http://www.nero.com/us/Clean_Tools.html " to uninstall all traces of Nero, then install again WITHOUT InCD.
