hi apollyon, Welcome to AD. here are a few things I saw in your log: your memory is a bit low and you need to turn off any unnecessary programs running in the background. Also it would be good to add more ram if you can. your burner doesn't like your choice of media. I see you are using dvdrw disks...did you format them before trying to burn anything onto them? the latest version of nero is 6.6.0.15a. http://nero.com/us/Clean_Tools.html you this link to completely uninstall nero, reboot and install the latest version of nero. http://www.nero.com/eng/Patch_for_NVE3.html also install this patch for nero vision express. the latest version of firmware for your burner is located here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces this winaspi doesn't look right and is outdated. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm use the link above to download the latest version. try to fix some of the errors and report back to see if we have solved your problem. I'm sure someone will pop in and see some things I missed but we're all here to help.
thanx for answering and helping i had already downloaded newest version of firmware for the liteon drive. i also went and downloaded the new updates for my nero so it is up to there newest versions i also download the new aspi. i cant do nothing over the ram at the moment as my computer is still under warrenty and i will have to pay a stupid amount for them to fit it or my gaurentee is void... i didnt format the discs and i feel kinda stupid as i am new to dvd rw discs of any kind didnt relise i had too and when i used nero to make a dvd it didnt ask or mention i had to since then i have tried to use the erase thing in nero to wipe the discs but it wont let me errors out after 30 seconds or so. i get a pma update failure when i try to erase the discs so paying extra for rw discs incase i made a mistake seems a waste.. so is there a way to erase or how do i format a disc sorry if that seems lame and i know a few will have a laugh over it but have looked and cant find a good answer. thankyou for the help
