Error from dvdshrink when copying fromDVD-RW

    I had backed up Van Helsing on a DVD-RW and now what to put it on a permanent DVD-R but when I put the copy of Van Helsing (DVD-RW) in the drive and press open disc on shrink I get the following error:
    Copy protection error.
    Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

    How can I take my copy on the DVD-RW and transferit to a DVD-R.

    Shrink will not normally recognise a movie already backed up. To copy to another disc (DVD-R in your case) simply use your burning rom and the DVD copy option.

    Put the disc you want to copy into the drive. Open your burning rom. Select 'copy disc' option and click 'burn' or 'copy'. If you have a seperate drive for a blank disc to write to put a blank disc in before clicking 'burn' or 'copy' or else you will be prompted to enter the blank disc when the reading process has completed. Avoid copying 'on the fly' (directly) so if this option is available deactivate it.
