error initialising disc with dvd loader

    what does it mean???my friend with a no swap chip was able to play the game(NFS2:U and Rainbow six 3)....
    but i got the error msg "ERROR INITIALISING DISC" with dvd loader....any patch that i need to apply?

    i'v had this problem too, it seams that some dvd originals do this. all you have to do is use another dvd. also, some dvd-r games will work with one original, and not the other, i don't know why, but that's how it is

    me using a origa mod set..i use a ar2 swap to play backup.....but NFS2 cant boot so i tried using dvdloader/...and i got this error msg...but other games are fine...my friend using a messiah 2 mod was able to play this piece of disc...so i assume the disc is working....

    does dvd loader7 work on all versions of ps2 mines a v6
