I am trying to back up age of empires. I burned a straight forward image useing alcohol 120 but got the above error. I obtained cracks and used Nero to insert this into a new image file (I cannot do this with Alchol 120) but I am still getting the above error. Teh first time I burned I remembered to ensure that the cd got the correct name. the second time i forgot to name the cd so it just lists as 'NEW' - but with the correct icon. Can any body help?
The CD is protected and your backup is not a perfect' 1:1 copy. Read the 'how to backup protect CD..." thread on the main forum screen to learn how this stuff work. In brief, you can try either to backup with Alcohol/CloneCD or, in you do not own the proper hardware (burner capable to burn RAW DAO), you might install some Safedisc emulators (look at Daemon Tools website).
