    Hi jmartell
1st thing edit out your serial # - top of log and begins w/ 1A.

    Nero API version: 6.3.1.11
Nero you can use an update - update to 6.6.0.18 - the last version of 6 to auotburn w/ Shrink. Here's some links:
Package 1 (express, burning rom etc.)
    Package 2 (recode, vision etc)

    Recorder: <DVDRW DRW-3S163> Version: BSG3
Burner can use a firmware update to - the latest is BSG5.

    Physical memory : 255MB
    Free physical memory: 56MB
    Memory in use : 77 %

512 mb in memory would be better - add some if you can. In the mean time no mulitasking and close any unneeded programs.

    Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AM3
Not the best media - may be part of the problem. Better to use would be Verbatim or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.

    File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS'
Roxio and Nero don't always play well so you can uninstall Roxio and run the Zap Tool.

Give those a go and let us know.

    Ok try the others 1st.
Try the link for package 2 again - okay a minute ago.

The firmware link - they seem to be down at the moment - but check again. Or here's another link
    Keep us posted!

    edit fix link

I've just tried the links and it looks like the manufacturer of the drive hosted them and their site is no more.
    So no luck there.

Try the verbatim disc and see how that goes.

Yes you should have slots there for it. Have the users manual by chance?

Need to make sure the ram is compatible - if you stick in it and it's not you'll know -the pc either won't start or keep restarting.

    That's still better.
May want to take a stick from the pc with you -just to make sure you get the right kind.

Sorry bout that - should have said a stick of ram (memory).

You might just have 1 stick in a slot for memory - it comes in increments of 128 mb. So 256 mb can be 1 stick.

    Stick,
The memory device you need, commonly called a stick, come in various sizes,
    [IMG]
    Look like this one here.
Newer computers use memory size such as PC 3200 or faster, older may use PC2100, ancient may use PC100.
Download a program called Belarc advisor, install it, it will give you a report on everything in your computer, including the serial number of you motherboard as well as the model number. Going to the manufacturer's website for the motherboard and inputing the model number will list all compatable memory types that will fit into your computer, as well as the maximum size it will handle.
    Available here.
    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
    I hope this helps.
If you can wait a couple of days, I've had good luck with www.newegg.com as a source for computer parts and supplies.

Sure sounds right - the question is - is it compatible - may just be.

Did you run the utility from blivetNC's post above?

You can always just open the case and put it in the slot (believe me if it's not compatible - you'll know either right away when you start the pc or a few minutes later:) )
