Error Message ? Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present)

    Does anybody know why my Sony DRU 710a won't read blank media?
    I have the latest firmware
    Its like there is no disc in the drive.
    Im using Tdk Dvd-r 8x Media

    Other dvd's play fine, It just won't see my blank media.
    Any help is appricated , thanks

    Download this free tool, play-about with it for a while.
    check out your CD/DVD ROMS, and discs' and some great guys will be able to give you an answer... apart from that... whu'r all guessin.

    What kind of information should I get for you. I have downloaded the program, Im not sure what to do from here. Thanks for your help :)
