"The dvd seems to have 1 protected PGC's. Couldn't create target rip directory." Has anyone ever seen this message? If so, is there any way to resolve the issue. I have used this software hundreds of times and this has never occured before. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!!
Try ripping with DvdFab Hd Decrypter Process through FixVts if necessary Transcode with Dvd Shrink Burn with ImgBurn.
Thanks 7thsinger. I followed your instructions. The only difference is I tried to burn w/DVD Decrypter. It is automaticallly linked to my DVD Shrink. I get the following error message after the movie has been shrinked and is trying to burn w/DVD Decrypter: Device [1:0:0] Memorex DVD16+/DL4RW1D2 Unable to lock volume for exclusive access Reason - Access is denied. Any thoughts on this?
Rebooting would probably help. If not, try this: Run DVD Decrypter. Go Tools>Settings. Choose "ISO Write Mode" tab. Uncheck the checkbox labeled "Lock volume-exclusive access". Disabling this should not have any ill effects. It's defaulted that way with Dvd Decrypter. And here's a thread that gives you the steps to setting up Dvd Shrink to autoburn with ImgBurn...if you're interested. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/664041 EDIT: BTW, Memorex are not the best blank media to use. Try using Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. Less coasters, better burns, they last longer, and you won't have the hassle of some playability problems. Burn at 6x or 8x max. Happy burning.
