    Here is a copy of the report of the error. Can someone tell me what this means?

    What program are you using to burn to the DVD?
    Do you also have DVD Identifier running in the background as well?
    Do you get same message type with DVD+/-R instead of RW disks?

    It looks as though DVD ID is trying to examine your +RW disk whilst it is being written to.
    Try to close DVD ID down before burning.

    The programs that I use are the DVD decrypter, the DVD Santa or I sometimes use the Roxio Disc copier and they all give me the same error message. I just recently installed the DVD Identifier and it wasn't running in the background while I was burning. I get the same error message type when I use DVD+/-R and RW discs

    What do you mean when you say programs running in the background?

    It looks as though the DVD ID is running whilst you are burning.
    Even though you may not be using it, it is still activating and trying to ID the disk.
    DVD ID can have a few problems with RW disks, you need to make sure it is totally inactive.
    Regardless of whether you think it is running, the messages you are getting are prodcued by that program.

    @jim2jamm
    Not the best discs that you're using and may be the cause. Try Verbatim or made in Japan Fuji, Sony or Maxell.
    Did you check task manager to make sure everything is shut down that needs to be?
