    Hi Anybody,

A DVD of my son's school concert was made with 13 chapters using DVDiT and burned on a DVD Verbatim-RW. The chapters were arranged in three columns; 5 in the first, 5 in the second and three in the third. Everything worked perfectly well.

Using DVD x Copy, I wanted to make a copy onto a DVD Princo-R. At the preparing stage, complete movie 76% and reading VTS_01_4.VOB the following message came on "Error reading source @13%". When the ignore button was hit the system froze at complete movie @ 77% and reading the file VTS_01_4 @ 15%. It did the same when an identical DVD Verbatim-RW was used.

I was able to copy onto DVD Princo and DVD Verbatim-RW using Nero. Using this method, the chapters in the third column do not work i.e chapters 11, 12 & 13.

I have no problem using DVD X Copy to backup my commercial movies.

What could be the problem? How can I solve this problem? The original files have been erased. Can anybody help!!!

    Alan

    Hi

Why not use Dvd Decryptor to make an iso of your dvd and just burn it like that.
If its over 4.7gb use dvd to one to get the right size.

I tried to use DVD Decriptor to make an Iso file and I got the attached message. Are there any suggestions as to what I can do to fix or repair the errors in the sectors? The errors seems to be in only one file of the DVD, 'VTS_01_4VOB'.
