The most important spec we need is the gfx card spec.

This is a gfx card problem plain and simple.

Yes you definitely have the gfx card requirements that's for sure.Hey you have the exact brand and model gfx card I have :)

Well the reason I said that is I've seen this problem with fear before. Most attribute it to the gfx card(it's drivers or compatibility).I have fear and it runs fine.It could be the drivers but I'm sure you have the latest ones.

    Here's the links about it.

etc etc. Also If you have a crack installed make sure it's the correct version.

I have the same problem .... to me I think its to do with graphics card compatibility...as I'm using a top of the range dell xps m1710 laptop with 2.33 Centrino Duo2 , 2gb ram and 512mb geforce go 7900 gtx. So it can certainly run it without breaking sweat. I'm gonna download drivers direct from nvidia as I have dells latest offering so we'll see how it goes.

If I go in to the fear configurator then it shows no video modes but I remember on my old pc's 7800gt that there were 4 or so choices so maybe the card isn't directly supported might try get the latest patch and see how we get on.......

well good news seemed to be the dell drivers.....the most up to date nvidia ones direct from their site are older than dell ones supposedly but FEAR runs like a charm ...hope this helps.
