my computer is a amd 3500 xp 64 bit i have like 6 entries of nero demo on my control panel add or remove which i cannot get rid of so i deleted all entries of nero & ahead on computer i also went ino regedit & did the same i then tried to download the newest version of nero & i then got this error [shellmanager database is missing corrupt or missing] did email nero however didnot receive any feedback yet
Try using the general clean tool availble at the nero website. It will remove everything except the serial keys, If after using the clean tool you still have problems, Only problem you could have causing the error, Was if a comprimised key was entered before, And the installer 'closes' because it found an invalid key, This is different from an 'expired' key thus causing Nero to close.
