I guess no one knows off hand. I see a lot of "operation did not finish in the past 15 seconds". Do you know why? Are the files accessible, might the computer be slow and not able to work with large files? You never really stated what you exact out come was. Does the program stop during transcoding? Does the burned disc not work? Maybe the file you are trying to use is not of the correct format. Have you tried something smaller to see if you can get it to work, then advance to something large? Or can you break the operation up by writing to hard drive first and then burning. I am not the expert here on this type of operation, maybe someone else will know.
thanks for the reply. Might also be my computer?Im running a nto quite fast laptop. Dell with Pentium3 700Mhz, 512 MB RAM. Im not burning it just writing in the hard drive. The total outcome of the file for VCD will be 1200mb and thats the reason why i didnt burn it. my goal was to save it to hard drive and then burn to a dvd disc after wo it will only use 1 disc instead of 2. And the process didnt finish at all. The program stops/hangs at about 60 - 70 percent. I start the program at the morning before i leave the house, leave it working and then when i get home, it stoped at about 60%. when I press ctrl-alt-del, the nero vision is running (therefor it didnt hang/freeze) but the CPU usage was only about 4% therefore there was really nothing going on. I hope any body can help me with this one..thanks. BTW, I am also trying to use Avi2dvd for the same file. and also having problems that the program freezes after about 3 hours. I will post this on a different thread a little later. Im quite busy as of now. thanks.
