I'm having trouble with the booting process of my new mod chip (Xectutor 2.3b Pro) when I turn the dip switch to 4 and leave the rest of them off. After I do that I turn it on and on its 3rd attempt it turns on and just flashes red and green repeatedly. If some one out there knows the awnser to my problem please let me know A.S.A.P.

    Thank you

Its a FRAG problem, you should check your connections.
FRAG mean flashes red and green. Catchy, eh?

Are you using the cable connector to the pc? If so, boot the xbox with the cromwell settings (dip switch) once it boots set the dip switches for flashing, the executer pc flashing program will then be able to recognize the chip. I'll check back when I get home from work as most of my stuff is on the home pc. I had a heck of a time flashing mine and stumbled across this. The pc software is available from the executer site.

here is the link for the app from team executer http://www.teamxecuter.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=1

Also what version xbox do you have? Have you tried following the step by step on team executer's site? Can you boot the xbox with switches 1 & 2 off and 3 &4 on? If that brings up the cromwell screen you can use a disk to update the bios. Just follow the tutorial.

If your going to use a boot disk, I believe the 1.0's only reads dvd-r. Check which drive you have and search the forums for media compatability. Once you get the cable and have the pc program from team executer loaded and the bios created as per the tutorial, connect the xbox to the pc, open the x2 bios manager. Turn on the xbox with bank 1 selected. x2 should recognize the mod chip. If it doesn't, keep switching banks with the dip switches until it does. Now without turning off the xbox, flip the dip switches to flash mode 1,2,3 off 4 on. Now follow the tutorial for flashing the chip. Let me know how you make out.
