ethernet wont work

    i could ftp into my xbox last night and then 10 minutes later it wont let me. under network settings it says "no link" under current ip. i have no idea whats wrong. any help?

    is the light of your ethernet port on when you connect the crossover cable to the computer?

    no it's not on.

    edit: for some reason the ethernet cable was screwed up. i've never had that happen before.

    yea i had the same problem u cant do anything about it it got overheated or something....i tried everything i changed the ethernet port an all your only hope is taht u disconnect your crossover and reconnect and see if that helps and if it dosent well ur ganna need to send it in for repairs
