    Hi
Can anybody help me out, I have a eurovox blue clone.
It just stopped working, when I turn it on it just stays on standby.
    Constant single Red Light.
Do I need to J tag the box? Any help would be appreciated

Did you check the C14 capacitor on the PSU board first?

    Hi Sc0user
I checked the C14 capacitor, no signs of leakage and the top
does not look blown or dis-coloured.
The box is probably beyond repair, what do you think
    Thanks

The jtag was successful. I would still replace the C14, it doesn't have to show any sign of damage to be the culprit.

I changed the C14 Capacitor, the old capacitor was 25v 470uf.
I replaced it with 16v 1000uf capacitor which came with the j-tag.
No joy still the same red light after I powered on
J tagged again, Continuity check on fuse/lead
Power is definitely going to PSU.
    anything else come to mind?
    thanks

Are you sure you replaced the right cap as earlier C14s were 6.3V 1000uF?

I changed the third capacitor from the right top pic, marked C14!
As you can see from bottom pic, i cant solder for sh*T.
Maybe thats causing the problem, or i've done completely the wrong
    thing all together.
    Thanks
