Recently bought a box n Ireland, can get allot of channels but unable to get the first 30 ( RTE 1, 2 , BBC 1 etc )Get service unavailable error. Have tried auto scan and power scan Anyone any ideas ?
N.L, sorry not helping with the lack of info. 30 is the first channel to work ( Dave ) and it's fairly random after that. All S.Y Sports and Movies are fine
ok dave have you done thisbefore?, from the start menu,installation,user installation,password 0000,power scan,mode normal,start290mhz,stop 450mhz,symbol rate 6887,no need to fill in the other 3 go to step 8 press ok wait and it should find 13 tps,then the channels should start coming in when it says found 160 or whatwver exit all the way go to a premium channel ie sky premiere and wait for that to come in you should end up with about 140 channels, let me no how you get on.
Cheers for that. Doing as you said I picked up 309 channels. All the channels seem to have been scanned about 3 times. Is this normal ? Getting an service unknown error on the missing channels. All the channels are in but they are all over the place. The first 2 BBC 1's do not work but the third does. Is there an easy way to sort through to only get the working channels ? No never seen that before ok if you like you can do a factory reset go to menu config clear data pin 0000 factory default ok symbol rate 6887 wait and it will go back to installation and repeat my last post, or did you say you got the missing channels?if so just delete the 1s that are not coming in.
