Euro vox max-V Transponder?

    i have a euro vox max v and gave it to someone who said they could flash it so i wouldnt have to update codes. since i got it back it wont find any channels, saying "no transponder" message.has anyone heard of this? if so, is the unit useless now?

    Are you using the correct frequency for your area?
    Who was providing the cable in your area?

    hi Eabs.im in Dublin area in ireland, would you know what frequency i should be using or how i'd find out?

    No problem. First press menu.
    you will see some options.
    Go to installation.
    It may ask you for a pin - 0000.
    Select Fast install if available.
    Choose or type in 6.887 for the Mbaud rate.
    press ok.

    Should start searching for TP - Transponders.
    I get approx 34 - 35 depending on when you do the scan.
    Once the TP's are found, it will automatically search for all channels available and save them for you,

    U are done. Enjoy watching your channels
