Euro-vox MaxV problem

Yo,

Ok, we currently have two Euro-vox's in the house but I have a newer version.

Anyway since yesterday, ''please wait while codes are being updates'' has appeared on the tv down stairs. In my room, it just says ''channel not currently available''. I was getting a mixture of 'searching for signal' and 'no signal' beforehand.

When I go to CA Status area, there is no settings under 'smart card;

I updated the channels on the 'main' box downstairs, and all the channels came through on the update with a good enough signal: 78%.

Upstairs for no apparent reason there is no signal quality.

Thanks for your time. Sorry for the wording of this, the problem is I haven't a damn clue what I'm talking about.

 

Ok, just a little update. I updated the key, and I'm getting what some might call a picture, but its just cracking up making the odd screachy noise. I can make out the sky sports icon at the top of the screen...LOL.
