This is just a re-named 17th December file. If you have already downloaded the 17th December firmware there is no need to load this as it's exactly the same. If you have installed it, just check the maincode date in system information and see for yourself :)

information, here's hoping this is thee fix. Merry xmas to all.

its the same file with extra patch work done on it to get the epg working correctly and yes the date is the same it just was not changed when the patch work was done on it.

Leave feed back on the problems incountered so they can be fixed on the next file ;)

Actually, it's exactly the same file just re-named - no extra patch work done at all.

Funny you should say that, as the reports been sent back about the epg been much better on that file, must be people telling lies so is that what your saying. ??

They are saying the EPG is much better on the 17th Dec file, it is exactly the same on the file that you have re-named as it's exactly the same file.

just tried and it seems to be the 17th Dec file as Lincsat said.
@ e45 , did you rename it to the 23rd as this will definetly confuse people.
With the Purple light problem best not to reflash for no reason at all !

The firmware works really well, doesn't matter if you use the firmware labeled 17th Dec or the one that was re-named as 23rd Dec - they are the same file.
